The New Hampshire Hospital Association and its member hospitals have long been committed to promoting greater transparency around health care costs, as well as a better understanding of hospital pricing, billing, and insurance coverage so that consumers can make the best and most informed decisions about their health care.
Health care prices are complex and requires engagement of all stakeholders along the continuum of care to ensure meaningful transparency for patients. Providing transparent price information is a shared responsibility among the state’s hospitals and health systems, insurers, employers, and consumers. The New Hampshire Hospital Association will continue to work with health care partners to ensure consumers have the information needed to make informed decisions regarding their health care and the health care of their loved ones.
