Applications are now being accepted for the 4th cohort of the New Hampshire Physician Leadership Development Program, available to physicians across the state through a collaboration between the Association, the New Hampshire Medical Society and the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics and College of Health and Human Services.
Launched in 2018, the New Hampshire Physician Leadership Development Program (NH PLDP) is designed to cultivate effective physician leadership within the Granite State from the bedside to the board room by teaching management, communication, and leadership skills, furthering effective communication between the medical staff and administration, and empowering physicians to foster change among their colleagues.
Developing and engaging physicians in leadership roles and decisions ultimately serves the strategic goals of New Hampshire’s health care system and improves the relationship and builds a solid foundation that will encourage alignment among physicians, hospitals and other key stakeholders as larger-scale transformational issues are addressed.
More information on the program is located at the below website with more details on eligibility criteria, program curriculum and benefits for both the physician and their sponsoring organization, as well as information on dates and the application process:
