Lean in Healthcare Certificate Program
The New Hampshire Hospital Association and Parkland Medical Center, in conjunction with GBMP, will be hosting an upcoming session of the Lean in Healthcare Certificate Program beginning Friday, December 6, 2019.
In this unique program participants learn the fundamentals of continuous improvement/lean in a classroom setting. They will then work in small teams to apply the principles and tools of an actual healthcare process during gemba activities. Each day participants will be introduced to appropriate best practices to address the challenges facing healthcare professionals every day. This learn-by-doing method will prepare students to return to their own workplace with the confidence to implement continuous improvement methodologies within their own organizations.
This essential program was developed to provide the healthcare professional with the knowledge and experience needed to effect positive change within their own organizations. Participants will learn critical steps, which they can take to assure dramatic, continuing improvements.
The program will be held at Parkland Medical Center, located at 1 Parkland Drive in Derry, New Hampshire, and will be a combination of classroom and tacit learning (learn by doing). The cost for the Lean Healthcare Certificate is $2,395.00 for the 8-week course, and space is limited to 25 participants.
