Over the past two years, the FHC/NHHA and the New England Alliance for Health (NEAH) have partnered to provide a Governance Leadership Summit that brought together CEOs, Board Members, Chief Medical Officers and clinical staff to talk about the future of health care in New Hampshire.

The reason? Transformation of the health care system is upon us, bringing change, challenge, and uncertainty. While we may not know what the post-transformation environment will bring, the transition period will be fraught with tension, market and organizational turbulence, and economic risk. A board's response to these challenges will determine the future of their organization. This presentation will outline the challenges and opportunities confronting health care organizations and their leaders and discuss practical strategies to keep ahead of the demanding change curve.
