The New Hampshire Hospital Association, in conjunction with the State of NH Department of Health & Human Services, held a high threat summit event that brought together 130 people from across the State, representing Hospital Senior Management, Physicians, Clinicians, Infection Preventionists, Emergency Management Coordinators and Public Health professionals.  Titled PREPARING FOR HIGH THREAT INFECTIONS: INNOVATE, INVOLVE AND IMPROVE, the event focused on preparedness for high threat infections of all types that could impact our healthcare system, and integrated emergency planning with practical discussion through a tabletop exercise that provided for the learning of new perspectives and sharing of best practices.

The event was sponsored by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services and the New Hampshire Hospital Association.  It was funded through a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and theUS DHHS Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response.
