The NHHA is pleased to participate in the online American Hospital Association (AHA) Annual Survey.

The online survey has a variety of features and benefits:

  • It is very interactive, bringing you a variety of tools to help guide you through successful completion of the survey.
  • It is intelligent and will return messages when it has questions about the data you have entered.
  • It contains several reports and worksheets that will help you collect and verify your facility’s data, and make sure you’re on track with the data entered in previous years.
  • The online survey is easy to use and will not take you long to complete. The worksheets and tools provided will ensure your data is accurate and any questions the system returns will reduce the number of follow up phone calls and questions you receive in the future.

Through this online survey process, NHHA will be able to monitor the activity in the state and help guide you through the online survey. We will have access to your data once it’s completed.

Welcome to the DATABANK on-line data collection system!

The NHHA works with the Colorado Health and Hospital Association’s (CHA) DATABANK program to provide New Hampshire hospitals with feedback on financial and utilization data. This data provides valuable information for hospitals to understand their own performance and how they compare to other hospitals.

The NHHA offers access to the DATABANK Program for its acute care member hospitals use only.

Acknowledgements

Beginning in 2015, the Department of Health and Human Services entered into a contract with the New Hampshire Hospital Association (NHHA). NHHA was responsible for the data collection, validation and aggregation, with the assistance of our sub-contractor, the Connecticut Hospital Association. In light of these changes, 2015 will be considered a baseline and building block for future analysis.

A quality check of the data, performed by the Department of Health and Human Services, revealed the following caveat which should be considered before conclusions are drawn from this report.

  • Some hospitals experienced a billing/reporting system transition during 2015 data submission. For these hospitals, discharge volumes, especially for outpatients, may have inconsistence cross months or quarters.
