The New Hampshire Hospital Association has just issued its 2012 Annual Report to member hospitals, which was prefaced by a stirring message from NHHA Board Chair Anne Jamieson and NHHA President Steve Ahnen.
"In the fog of change or the haze of budget battles, New Hampshire's hospitals have never lost sight of the fact that they remain the center of hope, healing and health in their communities," they stated, "and the Association's vision remains crystal clear: to be the leading and respected voice for hospitals and health care delivery systems.
"Our efforts together are absolutely critical to the future of the New Hampshire Hospital Association and our work on behalf of you and the patients and communities you serve," they added.
"Associations by definition exist to bring similar interests together toward the accomplishment of common goals. NHHA is an active leader in building committed and effective relationships within the New Hampshire health care community, among government interests and in cooperation with other organizations concerned with health care access, cost and quality. NHHA has consistently demonstrated its influence and effectiveness as a strategic leader through policy and advocacy gains, despite frequent obstacles and unfavorable political conditions.
"This year's Annual Report is just a snap shot of what we have accomplished together," they concluded. "It is a story of which we are proud...because it is a story about how, working together, we serve you and the important work you do."
