NEW HAMPSHIRE HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION HONORS OUTSTANDING SERVICE IN HEALTHCARE
(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Hospital Association recently honored local leaders in healthcare for outstanding service. The awards were presented at the Associations 66th Annual Meeting at the Balsams in Dixville Notch.
Charles Hebble, of Rye Gate, Vermont, was honored for his exemplary performance in hospital governance as a trustee of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Over the past 16 years he has served on the Board of Trustees for DHMC, Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Alliance.
David King, of Colebrook, was also honored for exemplary performance in hospital governance. King has served as a trustee for Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital for 14 years, 13 of which he served as president of the Board.
Stephanie Wolf-Rosenblum, MD, FCCP, of Nashua, was presented with the Hospital Associations Medical Staff Award for strengthening the cooperation between Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and its staff, and for contributing to her organizations effectiveness and efficiency. Dr. Wolf-Rosenblum is Medical Director for Pulmonary Rehabilitation, The Sleep Laboratory and Foundation Medical Partners. She was also recognized for her work as Dean of The Medical Centers Community Medical School.
Diane Wood Allen, MSRN, of Concord, was awarded the New Hampshire Organization of Nurse Executives Award for Excellence in Nurse Management. Allen, who is Concord Hospitals Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Operations, was recognized for her leadership, promotion of the nursing profession and her focus on quality patient care. Allen was also recognized for her work in Domestic Violence prevention.
